Compression Levels: The Ogee Faja

Compression Levels: The Ogee Faja

The Ogee Faja was designed to be unlike any other faja on the market. In fact, one of the most significant issues with today’s compression garments is that they don’t offer varied compression throughout the torso, hips, buttocks and upper legs. That’s where The Ogee Faja stands head and shoulders above its competition.

After a BBL, a patient’s hips and buttocks require less compression because too much pressure can cut off the blood supply to the new fat. Maintaining blood supply to the grafted fat is vital to survival and growth.

However, too much compression isn’t uncommon. While plastic surgeons worldwide estimate approximately 20-50% of the fat injected during a BBL won’t survive, we want to provide snug but cautious compression that doesn’t exacerbate the loss of volume and fat.

Further, areas that are lipoed, like the waist, back and key area, need more compression to help define the Ogee Line. The Ogee Faja was designed with these facts in mind – so, through these areas, the garment will fit more snuggly, helping to mold the perfect figure long into recovery.

Diving in even a bit deeper – it’s clear that the butt, hips, and legs require less compression because of the injected fat, but the garment mustn’t just lay on these areas either. Compression, while significantly less firm than what the garment provides through the waist, back and key area, is still vital in the more delicate areas.

Custom compression doesn’t just help shape but also reduces bleeding, minimizes inflammation, prevents fluid retention, and encourages overall healing – vitally important factors that aid in protecting and preserving your results.

Finally, but equally as important – compression provides comfort. You’ve probably noticed that after an injury, you hold the affected area firmly and close to your body -- that’s precisely the kind of comfort that the Ogee Faja provides after surgery, which helps patients to move around more freely with less pain post-op.
